The safety of delegates, speakers, partners, and staff is The Conference Hub’s absolute priority. After careful monitoring of Government directives and expert COVID-19 advice, The Conference Hub has put into action several special measures to ensure effective and safe delivery of events in this uncertain environment.
Events scheduled to take place in the coming months will fall into one of three categories:
Virtual / Streamed Events
Virtual events are live streamed online and offer a complete learning experience with the flexibility and convenience of being able to attend from home, the office, or wherever you may be. Our unique approach ensures that virtual events are fully engaging and highly interactive with the same learning outcomes and benefits found at an in-person event.
Face-to-Face / In Person Events
In line with Government advice relating to business events, some conferences and training workshops are scheduled to run in a Face-to-Face format. Conference attendee numbers generally fall between 20-50 people, while training workshops are capped at less than 20 attendees - both falling well under the number restrictions in place for mass gatherings. Event venues are COVID-Safe, and we ensure that all events follow strict social distancing, safety and hygiene measures to provide a safe learning environment for all attendees. We are working closely with our venues, speakers, and expert facilitators to ensure that our delegates can join a community of practice and gain all the benefits that they are used to enjoying at a The Conference Hub event throughout these uncertain times. Attendees will be contacted with all specific information prior to their event date.
Hybrid Events
Hybrid events allow both virtual and in-person attendees to attend events simultaneously. We recognize that in this time many are either unable to or uncomfortable to attend events in person. With Hybrid events, even if you are in lockdown, you can still level up at a The Conference Hub conference or workshop.
Given the uncertain and constantly changing environment currently, some events may need to be postponed as a result of ongoing uncertainty and in the interest of safety. We continue to monitor the situation and will update our assessment in accordance with Government directives, as well as considering the ability of delegates and speakers to participate. Delegates and speakers involved in events affected by postponement will be contacted directly about arrangements going forward. If an event is postponed, we will waive any booking change fees.
We are committed to playing our part in the containment of the COVID-19 and encourage all clients, partners, and staff to remain vigilant, we want to assure everyone that we will always act in the best interests of public safety. Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time.
